Here's
the complete process: |
1) Read through all the
pages of this site. It's
only five pages, but it
contains a wealth of
information about your video
and what you can expect. You
MUST have an E-Mail account
that you check on a regular
basis to participate in this
offer.
2) Fill out this page.
Be as complete as possible -
the more accurate you are
the better chance our
producers have of nailing
your spot on the first
rendition.
3) Be sure to read the
contract information
included at the bottom of
this page. You are
entering into a binding,
legal contract with our
company when you send us
your information.
4) It's important that you
understand the following: we
are producing an internet
commercial for you. For
$199 you receive a finished
product, ready to run on
the internet. If you decide
to make changes on this
commercial you will be
billed $100/hr. for changes
that we make on your
request.
5)
The ONLY changes that are
made for free are TYPOS,
ADDRESS ERRORS or
MIS-PRONUNCIATIONS in the
voice over.
Everything else is billed at
$100/hr.
6) Within 5-7 working
days you will receive a
digital proof of your
commercial. There will be
three options for you to
check on the proof sheet:
"OK as is" - we will
immediately load your
commercial to the 5 video
websites mentioned, "OK
with technical changes"
- this means we have made a
typo, address error or
mispronunciation and lastly
"OK with specification
changes" - these are
changes you wish to make on
your commercial that you
will be billed for.
7) Once you check "OK as is"
(and we can go through as
many revisions as you like
to get to that point) we
will upload your video to
the 5 major video sites
and send you a link that
you can put on your website.

If you've checked out the site and decided
you're interested in video, there are
several things you can do:
I WANT VIDEO - BUT I'M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING
ELSE
- You may have found this site via a search
engine, a referred link, and ad or a bunch
of other ways. You may be interested in
having video on your website, but you don't
want or need a commercial. Maybe you've got
training video, or a long company video or
any of the hundreds of other types of video
and multimedia that are out there on the
web.
Well, BroadbandAdvertising.com is part of a
much larger company called
BroadbandVideo.com where we do all kinds of
interesting things with video - from
displaying a simple clip to creating
full-blown online TV stations.
If that's the case, then just click on over
to
BroadbandVideo.com and we're sure you'll
find what you're looking for in online
video.
I WANT VIDEO - BUT I WANT TO TALK TO
SOMEBODY FIRST
- No problem, we use the web and forms
because many people find is easier than
chatting. Sometimes if you're in a hurry,
just filling out a form and hitting "submit"
is the way to go. But sometimes you've got
questions or issues that we didn't cover in
this site (although that's hard to imagine),
unlike other companies we don't hide behind
emails like
"information@reallybigcompany.com", we're
happy to talk with you on the phone:

I WANT VIDEO - AND I WANT IT
NOW
- You've read through the
site, you've checked out the
samples, you understand then
pricing and you're ready to
make the move. Let me just
get out of the way so you
can GET US STARTED - GO!
I WANT A WEB COMMERCIAL!

I WANT VIDEO - BUT I WANT
IT FOR
FREE
- You may have seen sites offering FREE
video, or FREE hosting or FREE eggrolls or
FREE whatever, but you're an adult, you know
deep down inside that no company can survive
giving away everything for free. It simply
can't happen. There has to be a "catch"
somewhere, and let me tell you - there
always is.
That being said, there are some companies
that have grown so large on the web that
they give video away - mostly it's hosting
but some even go on beyond that. With these
companies you have to ask yourself one
question "what will I do if my video
disappears?" With BroadbandVideo, Inc. if
there's a problem with your video, you can
call the owner of the company up and ask
what's up. With almost all "free" companies
- all you'll get is an answering machine
that tells you to go to the companies
website and view the "FAQ" where most of
your questions have already been answered.
Yeah, right - has that EVER worked for you?
Regardless, these sites give away video in a
variety of forms - good luck and we hope it
works out for you:
www.YouTube.com
www.AOL.com
www.Google.com
...and if that's not enough, you can always
do a search on "free video".
(Update: Since this site was first developed
AOL has shut down their free video site and
MSN is about to shut down their free site
"Soapbox" - so don't try to use those.)
Why do we put this here? Understand that
we'd love to have your business - but only
if you have realistic expectations. If you
want 'free" you may be able to put up with
ads popping up in your video, a size that
you don't really like, a player that doesn't
do everything you want it to - and most
important of all,
video that does not play reliably.
These are the things that you can expect
when you're not paying. And if you're OK
with that, you're OK with that.
